1/31/01 Question 6

Dear Visitors,
This is my first year teaching.  I have 10 children 3-5 years old in my class. In February I plan to have an un-birthday party theme for a week. I would appreciate any suggestions for activities.
Un-birthday

Dear Un-birthday,

What I do in my classroom when we have an un-birthday party, is the same things we do when celebrating a birthday. I have the children each make a birthday crown. We sing happy un-birthday to each child. We play birthday party games like pin the tail on the donkey, hot potato, etc...
Hope this helps,
Samantha

Dear Un-birthday,

Have each child find a picture in a magazine or draw a picture of what they would like for their birthday. Then each day of the week let a few children reach in the "birthday gift bag" and pull out a present.
Dianne
